1981 Yamaha SG 1500 in cherry red.The guitar is in good condition considering its age, and plays like a new guitar. I have tried to picture all the bits of damage to the guitar, which mainly consists of light scratching and some small dings to the body. The neck is straight, with a great low action. I suspect a previous owner had it re fretted, because the frets are like new. Loads of sustain and very easy to bend with minimal fret buzz. The neck shape is similar to a Gibson rounded 59 shape.Rosewood fret boardMahogany body24.75 inch scale lengthOriginal pickups and hardware.More pictures here https://www.dropbox.com/sh/l5ojteqw5km4j54/AAAVrXmToCap1ycStAosMULQa?dl=0Issues:-One of the push/push pots has been changed for a push pull pot.-The guitar was sitting in the corner for a few months without being played and the controls were a bit scratchy when I picked it up, I sprayed the control cavity with contact cleaner and it seems ok now so it was probably just dust but I thought I would mention it in the spirit of transparency.-The guitar does not have the original hard case. The guitar weights 4.3kg and I will ship it in a non original hard case. It is a fantastic guitar and I will most probably regret selling it. I have too many guitars though and I intend to thin out their numbers this year.UK postage only, collection welcome, questions welcome.
