DescriptionCrossTown Customs creates vintage looking and sounding instruments, without vintage prices, using original factory Fender guitars and parts. CTC started making TimeWarp guitars and parts for the player who wanted a vintage Fender instrument, not a licensed parts guitar that looked like a Fender. They are amazing looking and sounding guitars that give you everything you want in a vintage guitar but the price. This light weight (7 lbs, 3 oz) TW60 started with a NOS condition 2015 Fender Road Worn 60s Stratocaster, and was taken to a whole new level with the TimeWarp process of aging and relic work. The detail that went into this guitar makes it look like a true vintage work horse. The checking and wear is amazing and is what you'd expect from a real pre CBS Strat or Masterbuild. You can see the transformation from the pictures of the body as it came from Fender. The tone is fat and gnarly thanks to the Custom Shop Texas Special pickups, CRL 5 way, full cloth wiring on the CTS pots and Sprauge cap. The neck is a C profile with 7.25" radius and Medium Jumbo frets. Part of the TimeWarp process is to remove the serial number and stamp it into the heel of the neck, which adds to the aura and keeps the important serial number with the neck, and to make the original decal look like it's above the finish like a vintage 60s Strat. A random 1960's number is stamped into the neck plate. The neck is straight and true, without issues. It's a blast to play and feels and sounds as good as it looks. It comes complete with a REAL Relic 1960s case and case candy. The case looks fantastic with it's real world wear, but is solid. While it's a relic, it is a NOS that was created to look this way. There are no issues, and you get a Custom Shop look and tone for 1/4 of the price, and it's a factory Fender. This TW60 is a breeze to play, and when you do, everyone will ask what year it is.
