Offered in this auction is a Very Nice 2006 Gibson Memphis ES-335 Semi-Hollow body electric guitar. This is a great sounding and playing guitar, It has the classic 57 PAF Humbuckers, so it really has some great tone and sounds great playing jazz style chords, or rocks it out for the Blues or straight up Rock. This guitar is in good condition and sounds great with awesome tone! It has a nice playing neck and was recently set up with a low action, actually when I got the guitar I completely went through it polishing it and doing a light fret dressing. This guitar was a player, having said that, it was well taken care of and is in great shape (please look through all the pictures) it does have some patina on the pickup covers and hardware. The flame on the body is phenomenal - it's a beauty. The neck does have a couple small nick (see pic), also there are a few minor scratches here and there, also by the rear strap button the finish on the seam is lifting a little. If you're looking for a great sounding and playing guitar that is in good condition, this is your guitar.Here's an original description from 2006Next to the  model, the  Dot Neck is unquestionably  most recognizable design. First introduced in 1958 the same year the Les Paul got its sunburst maple top this guitar has been in production ever since. In 1962, the dots were replaced by pearloid blocks, but today Gibson has gone back to the basics. The  were looking at has an interesting finish that Gibson is calling “Light Burst,” along with a figured maple top, back, and sides and single-ply cream binding on both the body and the fingerboard.The most interesting thing about the ES-335 is that its a hollowbody design, but with a solid block of maple that runs down the center of the body. This helps eliminate annoying feedback at high volumes, but allows for a sweet sustain. The solid mahogany neck has a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard and the 1960 slim-taper profile, considered by many to be the fastest neck Gibson has ever produced (it was used on the 1960 Les Paul, as well as the various SG models starting in 1961). The guitar comes equipped with a pair of  humbuckers (typically called PAFs, for patent applied for) that are capable of going from super clean to smooth, buttery distortion, depending upon the amp you run it through.
