You are looking at a 2012 limited addition hand-stained Ash American Standard Stratocaster I purchased new-old stock in July of 2016 and hand relic'd and upgraded. The pictures at the end of the gallery are this guitar new as purchased in July. This special edition guitar came with a hand nitro stained ash body, which allows it to show the grain and is perfect for a relic job since there is no poly finish. The guitar is extremely resonant and you can clearly see the grain in the photos. The guitar has been upgraded with a custom 50's wired pickguard with a new Dimarzio Virtual Vintage 54 noiseless pickup in the neck, new Dimarzio Area 67 noiseless pickup in the middle and a new Dimarzio Air Zone humbucker in the bridge. Wired with cloth pushback wires, an orange drop cap for the neck/middle and a PIO cap for the bridge. I upgraded the tuners with genuine Fender locking tuners. The rest is stock original. This guitar sounds awesome and plays beautifully. The guitar has zero fret wear. I do these builds and sell at a loss because I love doing them and am raising money for the next project. This is a genuine USA Standard Ash Strat for an absolute steal of a price. Check my rating, specs below (minus the HSH, which has been removed). Comes with original Fender hard shell case. I will also include a new white 3-ply HSS pickguard and new flat black 1-ply HSS pickguard if you want to swap it out for a different look.
