Description

Essentially new Nash TC-63. I purchased this new from Humbucker Music for $2380 in November 2016, thinking I was going to pick back up on playing - but have not. I put new strings on it and have played it less than 2 hours total. This guitar has a medium level of wear, lollartron bridge pickup, and bigsby to name a few of the features. Absolutely awesome guitar that sounds so sweet - but needs a home where it will be played more.  The details: The Nash TC-63 is a Vintage Tele model from Nash Guitars.  Bill Nash designed the TC-63 to create a guitar that isn't extremely expensive, yet still captures that great look, feel, and playability of a well played and loved 1963 Fender Telecaster Custom.  Not only does the TC-63 look and feel like a vintage Tele Cutsom, it also features a number of popular modern appointments, such as Lollar handwound pickups and Gotoh Vintage tuning keys. If anyone knows about building vintage guitars, it's Bill Nash!  He has worked with a HUGE number of them for many years and has a great deal of knowledge about how a vintage guitar looks and feels.  The aged control knobs, pickguards, body binding, dinged and scratched finish, and aged hardware make the guitar look old, but the modern techniques used to make the guitar ensure that it plays like a brand new instrument.  Each Nash TC-63 is built by hand, so each one is completely unique.  It features a rosewood fingerboard, an alder body, and Jason Lollar hand-wound pickups.  The bridge is made from vintage parts, and the entire guitar is given a medium level of wear and tear via a relicing process. A2 magnets, custom covers, lot’s of attitude! Starting with a '60s Country Gentleman as a benchmark, Lollar went after the classic rock-a-billy 'bucker tone, adding some Lollar "secret sauce" along the way. The neck pickup is warm and buttery, with a clear, present top end offering sparkle and spank with clarity and punch.  The Lollar Special T (bridge) is a higher output version of the Vintage T Series Bridge with a rounder top end, a little more midrange, and more bottom end.  Roll the tone control back a bit and get a somewhat convincing P-90/vintage humbucker tone. Flat pole design with graded Alnico 5 magnets. Vintage style cloth covered lead wire. Wax potted. Neck: 4.4k Bridge: 8.0k
