- Made in Japan - Made in 2014 - Thin white (they call it US Blonde ) paint. - Gold hardware - Maple neck-through & ash body. Very rare combination. - The best sounding Jazzmaster I've ever tried. - This Jazzmaster represents the early prototypes before Jazzmaster production started in 1958. This is an extremely rare Fender Jazzmaster model JM66G, of which only 30 were made for Fender Japan's 30th Anniversary. It is a very unique Jazzmaster and is incredibly well made. It is in excellent condition and is probably the best one you will be able to find for years. I am a private collector, not a player and thus this guitar has never been gigged with. It hasn't been played much at all. The condition of it is 9.5/10. A single saddle screw is a tiny bit loose. As most of you know, this is a very minor and easy fix but I have chosen to leave the guitar alone instead. There is a small mark on the pickguard (as shown in pic) and a small mark on the back (extremely hard to capture in a picture and very hard to see in person). Included will be the original Fender soft case, tremolo bar and original purchase card from Japan. Worldwide shipping is available and will ship fully insured.
