JHG Custom Guitars is Here! Launched in late 2016, we are pleased to offer the SS-101 line of Guitars! This is part of the first run of instruments that we made (20 in total). The action is almost as low as the serial number! This guitar was also featured this year at the NAMM show and is one of our favorites. It's simple in its design but has a full range of tone available right at your finger tips. We will be making 400 units this year between our SS-100 and SS-101 series guitars, as well as a tele model, strat design and Les Paul design. This instrument plays and feels excellent. It provides the liberation that many LPj's and MM's feature. We are a business based in repair and maintenance of stringed instruments for many years including time at Buffalo Bros. Guitar Store, Based in Carlsbad, CA. We have stayed at this location since the store closed and continued to provide services to local, regional and international players. The neck on this guitar is comfortable for many different preferences as experienced in the last few weeks. The guitar is very balanced and comfortable to play. It has a great look and commands the eye's attention. This guitar features our signature head stock and medallion logo, newest body shape and contours, as well as many thoughtful details reflecting the experiences we have had over the years we feel define what a great guitar should feel and play like. Our slogan is 'Guitar Perfected'. Here's a summary:'I genuinely love this guitar. By far my favorite since starting with these builds. It gives a hint of the old super strats that were out there but without the 'Fender' part, which is a perk to me. It plays fast and low and still can be deliberate, and 'fat'. The feature set is limited by design, but reflected in the price. That's a lot of tone for under a grand. I like that I can use it to try new sounds out and compose new ideas, play multiple styles, and then go on stage with it.
