Screw ring diameter is 70mm.This horn has a Knopf wrap like the current Alexander model 200.This horn is in very good condition. It is completely unlacquered. Horn was recently totally reconditioned by John Mason, the horn specialist in Los Angeles. All 4 valves were overhauled / replated / rebuilt. The leadpipe was replaced with a factory new Alexander 1103 gold brass lead pipe. And a couple of leaks were patched (see pictures 5 and 6). There are reinforcements in the areas where your left hand holds the horn.The horn is in excellent working condition and has a nice mellow sound. All valves and slides are free and working. Valve compression is very good. Slides pop as they would on a newer horn.As an older instrument, it does show minor dings and scratches. No case is included. From a smoke-free, pet-free home. Will be shipped via FedEx Ground or Home to the continental US.
