Description
Brand: Godin

Here we have an incredibly versatile guitar. It is also very well made - assembeled in the USA from parts made in Canada. The photos I have taken make the guitar look more deep blue than it is in reality. It has a slightly more -greeny-blue' colour than the photos show. It also does not have a solid colour - as might appear from some photos - the wood-grain shows through the finish. The guitar has three Seymour Duncan 'Duckbucker' pickups. Here is some blurb about the pups...The Duckbucker is a single coil sized humbucker designed to be wired in parallel to give you a sparkly single coil tone. Its unique, split-pole pattern with 3 poles on each coil, also contributes to the single coil bounciness and snappy low end.So basically a 'Strat' sound but without the hum. There is a standard Strat style 5-way selector switch to give the usual combination of sounds, including the out-of-phase sounds in positons 2 and 4. The guitar also has a piezo pickup in the bridge which allows you to simulate 'acoustic' tones. OK - it won't sound like a vintage Martin or a top-end Taylor etc. etc. - but it will sound pretty good, especially if played through an acoustic amp, or acoustic setting on a modeling box. The acoustic pickup has a volume slider and another three sliders for high, mid and low EQ. You can use one of the jack outputs to have both piezo and magnetic pups running together via a 'blend-pot' or you can have both types of pups going out via different jacks. The temolo works far better than on F****r Strat and returns to a flat position. You also get locking tuners which do exactly what you would expect locking tuners to do.All in all, a very attractive guitar packed with useful features.Any questions please message me - Richard - or call/text me on 07763 401943. Collection in person is welcome from Wakefield but if not possible the guitar will be well packaged and posted.
