Gibson Sg special 1999 With Bare Knuckle Pickups

This is an awesome rockin' workhorse! 1999 Gibson SG special Made in USA from an era when they were making great solid nitro colour: this is a stunning deep cherry red with none of today's faded nonsense and all the MOJO of nearly 20years of use, tony dings and laquer cheques... And then there's the bit that makes this guitar reaaaally special: the Bareknuckle Crawler humbuckers, handwired here in the U.K. And just the ultimate rocking machine (with all the tones in between!!) Not a pristine guitar! There are several very minor dings and chips due to nearly 20 years of use, but they are all very minor and cosmetic. I photographed what I could, please see photos. In fact, if you ask me they add to the look, they were part of the reason why I chose this guitar! So why parting with it: I saw another guitar I dreamed of, and as this had the same function as the new one, it had to go. However, I can't stress enough how great it plays and sound and I would definitely keep it if I didn't need the cash! The setup is truly professional, plays like butter, intonation is great! It even sounds great unplugged: always a good sign. Please note the photos: the tuners have been changed to Grover tuners (not by me), and the Grovers are excellent and reliable: tuning is great. Currently strung with 11s for beef, but still very easy to play and super fast neck. It comes with a used but still very functional hard case (tweed). This axe is superb!! It begs to be played hard on stage for another 50 years!
