2013 Gibson Les Paul If you need a work horse, you just found her. I took this one in and someone had put a huge sticker on the back and tried to brush poly over top of it and the nitro finish. The guitar had great potential but just needed some help. I started by stripping the back and refinishing it in a nice coat of clear nitro. Then brushed the control cavity with non-conductive black paint. I couldn't just throw anything in her so I went all out. I upgraded the electronics with one of Getfiddle Custom Shops pio 50's wiring kits and then threw in a very sought after set of original Gibson 2001 Burstbuckers.. added some black accents like knobs, switch tip, cavity covers, jack plate and pickup rings. Great chrome to black ratio. The guitar came factory with Grover tuners so I just left that alone. The frets are perfect and I've set it up with ghs boomer 10's. A few minor scratches and the tiny knick you see pictured. If you like a warm tone that can truly growl when you need it to or scream when you need it to. Then look no further!! The wiring kit consists of: 4x Bourns 500k long shaft audio taper pots 1x .015 Russian paper in oil (pio) capacitor (neck) 1x .022 Russian paper in oil (pio) capacitor (bridge) 1x Switchcraft short 3 way toggle switch 1x Switchcraft mono input jack All wired together with 22awg Gavitt push back wire in Clean Getfiddle Custom Shop fashion.
