This is a Telecaster copy from Tokyo, Japan's finest boutique guitar maker, Freedom Custom Guitar Research. With only 13 employees, they make great instruments with high attention to detail and quality. I'd put them at the same level as Fender Custom Shop, if not higher. Everything is top-notch, from the construction to each component, and they even use nitro finishes. New, these go for about $3,000+ and typically cannot be found outside of Japan.Cosmetically, this is in very good condition, with some signs of use but no major damage or blemishes. Upon close inspection there are scratches on the pickguard, some dents on the headstock edge, and a few very small bumps on the body. There are a few very light surface scratches on the back of the body that do not really show in the pictures. These are are not apparent from a few feet away. Please have a look at all the pictures -- it's in nice shape. Frets are in very good shape with only minor wear in some spots.This guitar plays extremely well and the VooDoo pickups are awesome.
