Up for sale is a fantastic sounding, handwired clone of the classic vintage Marshall 1974x 18 watt / Mini Bluesbreaker. The handwired clone amplifier chassis is housed in a genuine (Made in England) 1974x Marshall combo cabinet and loaded with an 8 ohm Celestion Greenback speaker. Tube-driven Tremolo is footswitchable on/off (1-button footswitch not included). Note: this amp Tremolo does not take a 2-button footswitch (on/off and 2x speed) like the Marshall and others.Amp is in great condition with very low tube hours and the speaker is new (Made in China 2015). The Preamp tubes are a pair of Mesa, SPAX7 and 12AX7, plus one Chinese tube and Power Tubes are new Chinese. The Rectifier is a Russian Electro-Harmonix branded tube. There is no branding on the chassis or transformers but it's a BYOC (Build Your Own Clone) kit without the Branded Classic Tone transformers but they are a paper-layered vintage-style design. Combo cabinet is in excellent condition with minimal scratches to the tolex or grill. The only "issue" is the gold hardware on part of the handle of the cabinet has some oxidation.
I have had a few questions about noise and noise at idle. At low volumes the amp is quiet. There is some hissing and noise at higher volume if you are sitting right in front of the amp...move away and it it's fine. Also remember it's a Class A amp, pulling full current at all times including idle. If the amp is dimed you will always hear noise through the speaker and single-coils magnify this. This is normal, assuming the noise is not excessive. It's seems a lot of people do not understand this. If you are looking for a dead quiet amp when you are not playing, a Class A/B design is the smarter way to go but regardless this amp is quiet for it's design.
About the amp:
An authentic reissue of the fabled model 1974 combo of the late sixties (1966-1968). Just like the original, it boasts a handwired, turretboard circuit housed in an aluminium chassis, plus a valve-driven tremolo circuit. At the very heart of its simple yet effective 2-channel design can be found six valves: three ECC83s in the preamp, an EZ81 rectifier, and a pair of cathode biased EL84s in the power stage.

Ask questions before buying and see photos for details. Killer amp, Killer price!
