A fantastic and original 1980 Gibson Explorer
VCP is proud to offer this very cool vintage Explorer. From the days where Gibson got it's groove back in the early 1980's, the inception of the custom shop, the first true re-issues with 50's style construction, this one is no exception to that rule. A KILLER Explorer that is very faithful to the original 1950's PAF Explorers. Some unique modifications have been made to this guitar - namely the installation of a Koa fingerboard with star inlays (a la Richie Sambora), super pro work with a killer refret.
Also installed are a great set of aftermarket black Gotoh style tuners. More info:Original finish throughout the body and neck

Original pickguard
Original Trussrod cover
Original pickup rings
Very rare set of double white Seymour Duncan Seth Lovers installed
(These look very very close to real double white PAFs)
We installed some vintage early 1960's reflector knobs to add a little more POP!
