For sale is a truly awesome Airline H44 by Eastwood that has been modified to replicate a vintage Harmony Stratotone H44. From the thick neck to DeArmond Hershey bar pickups this guitar is as close as you can get to being the real vintage deal at less than half the cost. The guitar si noce and light, The Eastwood website says it's made of ash. The guitar has many upgrades such as original, vintage DeArmond Hershey bar pickups (worth $250 by themselves). These pickups have that great blues tone you hear from all the great West Coast jump and blues musicians such as Kid Ramos, Junior Watson, Paul Piget and others. It has original, vintage volume and tone pots and an original, vintage Harmony tailpiece. A natural bone nut was added along with a Harmony headstock sticker. The tuners were upgraded with StewMac Golden Age Restoration tuners. It also has had some relicing added to give it for that vintage look. A few dings, dents and wear give it that well worn 1960s look. The action measured at the 12th fret is 5/64" on the bass side and 4/64" on the treble side. Plays great! It's in excellent used condition albeit the relicing. From it's looks you'd think it was the real deal and once you hear it you'd swear it's the real deal!
Sale is for guitar only, other items in photos not included in the sale.
