A fantastic and original 1987 - 1988 Fender Stratocaster!
In super rare and HIGHLY desirable "Gunmetal Blue" sparkle
We absolutely adore these mid/late 80's Custom Color Strats
A nod to what would become the future of many Fender artist models including the Buddy Guy, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton and Robert Cray signature models... the lace sensor pickups are not only magically noiseless, they also a very unique "spank and snap" to their tone.... Some unique modern engineering advancements introduced on this era of Fender include the Lace Sensor pickups, two-point tremolo, bi-flex truss rod and low friction saddles.These came in a wide variety of custom colors - this particular example is in one of the most rare and hard to find colors: Gun Metal Blue Sparkle.... The guitar itself is in fantastic original condition very little wear. Original trem arm included. The original molded thermoplastic case is in great shape with a few marks and an old stickers The fingerboard has been oiled, the guitar polished and a brand new set of d'addario strings installed.
Plays great, sounds even better and ready to rock!
