Hello and thanks for checking out my listing. It pains me to post this head, as I have loved owning it. A couple of its years, I used it on the road playing at many shows up and down the east coast. For this touring, it was in a set of custom 'Calzone' road cases to keep it well protected while it was carried from stage to trailer and back again.  Many of the years I have had it, however, it has stayed put inside without getting much use.As the title says, the head I am selling is the Marshall JVM410, which you may have already done your homework on if you're this far. If not, it's a fairly newly designed 100W all tube guitar amplifier -- 5 x ECC83s (12AX7s) and 4 x EL34s. This beast has 4 channels, each with 3 switchable settings. What this means is, there is a Clean, Crunch, Overdrive1, and Overdrive2 channel, but by pressing the footswitch (or button on head) for each channel, you can alternate between 3 separate gain/boost type settings per channel. Each has its respective color LED on the footswitch. It's awesome and very intuitive once you play with it and really dial in the sounds you like. Tons of cool features as well, such as a direct XLR out, effects loop, reverb, etc. The condition is excellent, as it has either been in a road case, or inside all of its life. The footswitch does show some signs of wear, but is still in great working condition.I am the original owner and the amp has never needed servicing or any replacements.Speaking of sounds.. this thing is brilliant. I've played mainly a Les Paul through it with the occasional Telecaster and am just in love with the tones you can get. From deep beautiful cleans (even Fender-esce, I would say) to classic Marshall overdrive gains, you cannot go wrong with this rig, no matter your genre preference.I am only asking $1,200 for this head which is in great condition (bought new for $2,499!). The included footswitch has a small bit of paint chipping and does appear a little used, but it does the job just fine!  Also, the footswitch's underside is lined with velcro, as I kept it living on my pedal board. I left this velcro, thinking it could be of use to the next owner. Thanks and I hope this half-stack will go to someone who will use it more than I get to now!  Be sure to message me with any questions!  I will respond quickly.  Many buyers like to know why a seller wants to sell an item.  I need to sell this head because unfortunately, my live gigging days have been over (for now) for the past 5 years and I am entering the medical field, where I am sure to remain busy.  I simply would like to downsize to a very low wattage combo and don't have the spare cash to keep both.LOCAL PICKUP WOULD BE MUCH PREFERRED.  OTHERWISE, I WILL PACKAGE IT VERY CAREFULLY AND WRAP THE TUBES SEPARATELY.-Erick
