Up for sale is another one of my prized possessions.  My 1962 Burns Vista Sonic.  I purchase this on Ebay several years ago, bought a tremolo arm for it and bought a hard shell case for it. This is a really cool guitar.  Electronics all work.  The tremolo arm is not original but has the proper size and thread to fit and works as well as I would imagine the original would work.  The pick guard was cracked and repaired by the previous owner.  It is stable now and seems to be a good repair but the crack lines are visible (by the pickup selector).  It has the famous Burns "wild dog" pickup setting.  It has a few dings but nothing that hinders its playability and nothing out of the ordinary for a 50 year old guitar.  The frets are very low and flat.  I am not sure if they were like that originally or if they are worn.  It is still very playable with very low action.  Everything is in the pictures.Comes with the hard case pictured. Please ask any questions before bidding. Payment due within 72 hours of auction end. Shipping charge will be as calculated in continental US (if there is any left over I will return the difference). Sold as is. Thanks for looking and good luck!
On Jan-28-17 at 06:11:00 PST, seller added the following information:Here is some more information that I received (and verified) from another Ebay member - Hi, the serial number being that low is from the first year of production, also the press fit trem/vibrato chrome cover changed to a screw on type in 1963! some Burns also had a date stamp under the pick guard however I doubt it on this one as it is too early and I think that the stamping started in 1963, I would love to have this guitar if I were left handed, by the way those pickups are the early Tri-Sonics that are so sought after.Given the details that I now know on this guitar and having played it for a while the last couple of days I would remove this listing and not sell this guitar if I possibly  could.  Whoever wins will get a really cool and very rare guitar (one of the first) and I will probably never be able to replace it.  Good luck!!
