What makes this guitar special: A blues machine, with a cult following and delectable tone in a gorgeous cherry red package. This piece is in fantastic shape considering its age, with hardly any wear at all. The cherry red finish is vibrant and beautiful, and the growly pair of Blues P90’s have a distinct tone (similar to a Fender single-coil, with a bit more bite), especially in tandem with the semi-hollow body design. It has been professionally setup and inspected by our expert in-house luthier, and will arrive ready to play.Cosmetic condition: Excellent condition for its age, with some flattening of the clear coat on the back, mild buckle rash, some small surface scratches and dings, and some pickwear on the front.Body: Chambered maple body with bound maple top in cherry finish with dual f-holes. String through bridge and individually adjustable saddles.Weight: 6 lb, 4.9 ozNeck: Soft-V shaped mahogany neck with white side dots and pearl diamond inlays. 1 5/8” nut width, 25 1/2" scale length. Headstock sports a black overlay with mother-of-pearl Gibson logo and pearl double diamond. Gold vintage style tuners are in perfect working condition. Neck is straight and truss rod functions as it should.Electronics: Blues P90 pickups (Bridge-12.06K ohms, Neck-12.12K ohms) with 3-way pickup selector switch, 6-way rotary Varitone switch, and black tophat knobs, 1x volume, 1x tone.Case: Epiphone hard shell case included.
