Here is a fantastic example of a 1978 Fender Telecaster Finished in an all original Natural Finish with Black Pickguard and Rosewood Fretboard. All Pickups, Electronics, Frets, Tuning Machines, Bridge, you name it - is all original.   While this Tele was not produced during Fender's "Golden Years", it's not to say that the guitars weren't well made.  They just weren't consistent.  Some are magical as I feel this one is... and some were "eh... not so much". Beautifully set up with a nice set of 10-52s.  No Fret Buzz or "Fretting Out" when bending.  The action is set nice and low for easily playing and the intonation is spot on.  Both pots sweep cleanly without any static or noise - the same goes for the 3-way selector switch. The sound is great with plenty of twang at your disposal. It comes with the original hard shell case and "ashtray" bridge cover.  The case does have a smoke odor to it which can pass onto the guitar when stored.  This can either dissipate naturally or quickly by wiping the fretboard down with some naptha with a subsequent treatment of lemon oil.
