The Gibson Super 400 is the definition of a showstopper instrument. From its booming body width of 18 inches, luxurious appointments such as the "Super 400" engraved gold tailpiece, multi-ply body and fretboard binding, to our personal favorite when it comes to Gibson inlays; the split block, the Super 400 is one of the classiest instruments we can think of when it comes to the Jazz boxes of the guitar world. This vintage Super 400 was built in 1950 and is in good vintage condition with lacquer checks and small nicks throughout the body. An aftermarket Benedetto neck pickup was also added over time. The pickguard was swapped out for an aftermarket piece of rosewood, however the original pickguard and a 1/8" cable for the pickup are included in the original hardshell case.Questions?
