This is a fine example of the highly collectible pre-refined Parker Nitefly NFV2. It is in great condition for a 20 year old guitar but please examine the pictures as it s a 20 year old guitar! There are scuffs to the pick guard and a few tiny scratches on the body that I have tried to capture in the photos. No major defects at all however and the guitar looks, sounds and plays beautifully. Tremolo arm not included at time of listing although I am actively trying to source one! EDIT: Tremolo arm now acquired! Also the non-magnetic Piezo pickup requires a special cable, as such it is not tested.Parker manufactured the Nitefly NFV2 between 1996 and 1998. It was like the NFV1 but with a DiMarzio humbucker and 2 single coil pickups. The Nitefly was Parker's first bolt-on neck guitar. It had a solid contoured maple body and shared many of the Parker Fly's advanced features like a basswood neck reinforced with Parker's patented carbon fiber/glass/epoxy composite. And a fingerboard made of the same smooth, stable and durable composite material as the neck.
The Nitefly's 22 jumbo frets were made of spring tempered stainless steel and were precision surface mounted (glued) for accurate intonation and long life.
The NiteFly has both magnetic and passive, piezo-transducer pickups. Please read my returns policy carefully and bid responsibly!
