Vintage 1957 Gibson Byrdland Archtop Electric Guitar. An absolutely fantastic playing, killer sounding, vibed out example of a players Byrdland with a professionally installed Bigsby and B Bender. Plays great all the way up and down. The neck is nice and slim, super easy to get your hands around. Has a super smooth, quick and tight feel in every position. B bender is a blast to play with, it's great for simulating pedal steel licks, and in the right hands could make some real magic. Bigsby also works great and it holds tune well. The original P-90's have been replaced with 60's Patent Sticker Byrdland Humbuckers. They sound amazing. Super warm, clear and balanced. Has a fantastic punchy, woody attack. The neck pickup is incredibly deep and round while still maintaining a tight, defined tone. The bridge pickup is full of twang while still staying full bodied and present. Really an incredible sounding instrument all around.Excellent playing condition with signs of cosmetic wear throughout. The headstock has been professionally repaired, it is hard to see and holds up just fine. Priced according to condition and originality. This one is truly special and simply incredible all around.
