Gibson sg customized by Dax custom shop - ONE OF A Kind !!! Out of the Dax&Co. Custom Shop is this customized Gibson SG. The original finish was removed and a thin coat of gold nitro lacquer was added to the top. The back was left stained wood like a Les Paul, and the entire guitar was completely relic'd to look like a well played vintage guitar, right down to the lacquer checking!The guitar plays great and sounds killer with the original pickups and electronics. I recently had the guitar set up by Master Luthier Dan of DNG Guitars in Fairfield CT. Frets where leveled and full setup done. $150 for the set up alone you can check his prices online. dgncustomguitars.com This guy builds custom LP style guitars by hand, you can look him up on YouTube. Upgrades included Tuners, Pick gaurd, and Bridge. I sanded the neck a bit its silky smooth. Elier 009 STRINGS with plenty of life left.
No buzz, stays in tune great. I recently did a show with this guitar and it played great and got some attention due to the Gold top. When i was looking for a SG i didnt want the standard color and there are not many to choose form so when I saw this i knew i had to have it. Unfortunatley i now have to pay for a PA and this is one of my best so it should help pay most of the bill, but not all
Comes with it's original Gibson hard-shell case which shows some wear but works fine...and a signed and numbered Dax&Co. COA! paypal only
