This is a very unusual guitar.  I got it about 25 years ago at a guitar show.  It almost seemed to be based on a Les Paul or Les Paul Junior body, but have not been able to find anyone who can verify that.  While it appears outwardly similar to a Les Paul, it looks like someone took it, and sawed it in half, hollowed out the interior, and put it back together, staining the top dark brown, while leaving the back a reddish mahogany color.  It's quite light - 6 lbs, 11 ozs or so for the guitar by itself.  Then it seems they put a custom neck on it, very nice with burled wood and inlays.  The neck is very narrow (1 5/8 inches at the nut).  Seems to have humbucking pickups - I haven't taken them out to see what they are, but can try to do so if you request.  And the electronics seem to be standard Gibson LP type, 2 pickup volume, 2 tones, 1 switch.  Functionally, the electronics work fine.Has Grover tuners, and the oxidation on the pickups would seem to indicate it's from about the 1970s.  Overall, the condition is very good, just a few nicks and scratches.  In the 25 years that I've had it, it's been played with maybe 2-3 hours, at most?  So it's pretty pristine. The case appears generic, and the handle has broken off (the pictures show it still attached on one end, but that has come off since).  But an easy repair, and I have the handle. While I like it a lot, the neck is much too small for me to play (not that I can play much anymore after breaking my left wrist badly last year - fortunately, I'm mainly a keyboard player).  I gave it to my wife a while back, but she's more into acoustic, so it's time for this little orphan to find someone new who can appreciate her!Glad to answer any questions you might have, considering how unusual it is, and to supply any additional photographs or other information that you'd like.   I will try to get a video up of it being played shortly.
