Phenomenal sounding drum very heavy brass shell! Magnet sticks to hoops so they are not brass and there is an extra hole in the butt plate panel, indicating this was once a super sensitive model that was converted. Also, the strainer and butt plate have a much later "Ludwig" logo on them. That more streamlined Ludwig logo engraved on the parts is from the later 60s and was used from that point on. So, the strainer and butt are replacements but at least are the correct ones even though from a later era. The muffler knob, lugs and tension rods are '60s post-serial. Weighs 10.4 lbs as last picture shows.
