Here's a 1968/9 Gibson Blue Ridge vintage acoustic guitar built in Kalamazoo Michigan. I purchased it at a vintage instrument store in Memphis and the seller informed me that it was 1968/9 based on the serial being in the 600000 series which were built from 1966-69. It has Brazilian rosewood back and sides. The top, back and sides are in great condition from play wear for a 45 year plus guitar. The finish is original and amazing aging of vintage color that produces such a warm woody sound. There some light scratches and nicks (see photos) on the top. The frets are in very good condition. It is a well-opened guitar and plays beautifully. I put a EMG sound hole pick up and it sounds great and brings this vintage beauty alive at gigs. Comes with case.
