It has weather checking buy the F hole SEE PICTURES....And weather checking on the back of the head stock....In September 1965 the Baldwin Piano and Organ Co. took over the assets of Ormiston Burns Ltd. (aka Burns of London) having been outbid by CBS in their efforts to purchase Fender.Most of the Burns guitar line ended up carrying the Baldwin name. Since Burns guitars only carried the name engraved on the pickguard, the change was relatively easy.One of the new Burns models for 1965 that ended up with the Baldwin name on its pickguard was the GB66 (the GB65 was a solid body) It has mahogany body with a flamed sycamore veneer top and two Burns UltraSonic single coil pickups. The neck is adjustable through a unique geared mechanism accessed by removing the neck plate.The GB66 was eliminated from the line in mid '66 so is among the rarer of both the Burns and Baldwin lines.I shoot for a 2 to 3 business day prep time to get your order out the door.
