Here's The Run Down: This is a very cool custom built Melancon Stratocaster, that was personally made by Gerard Melancon for one of his employees as a Christmas Gift. I have the email from Mr. Melancon to back up this statement and will forward the email to the buyer. This guitar is the only guitar that he built with an Ash Body/Mahog*ny neck Combination. Its definitely a super player and is a featherweight for sure.This guitar was played some over the years although still in nice shape. There will be minor flaws and play wear to picture or mention. Flaws will consist of minor scratches, marks, scuffs, a few chips and dings (see pics). I tried to take really good pics, so you can judge for yourself (see pics). There are NO breaks, repairs or damage. All electronics are original and operate perfectly. There is NO buckle rash on the finish and only minor fret wear to mention. There is some discoloring of the gold hardware. If your looking for an amazing custom high end player at the right price, this would make a great addition to the herd!
This Melanson USA Stratocaster sounds and plays amazing! Although I think its set up great, everyone has their own preferences. If your not happy with its set up, it will be your responsibility and cost to have it set up to your liking. The neck is straight and the truss rod operates as it should. All electronics operate perfectly! The Included Hard Case is in good shape. All hinges operate as they should without issue, but one latch came off. Its in the case pocket and can easily be repaired or reattached. It will have marks and/or scuffs here or there from moving it around, but still in good usable condition. Everything operates as it should, and has never had, nor does it have any breaks or repairs unless noted above. Make sure you view all of the pics and ask questions if you have any concerns before buying. I will ship this item over seas, but you must contact me for a shipping quote before buying.
