This is a STUNNING example of a 1923 Gibson TB-1 Tenor banjo...Apart from the broken handle on its matching 93 year old chipboard case, you would not guess this banjo dates back as far as it does. All parts on this thing look to be original. Finish on neck, headstock and body is wonderful with no cracks or chips anywhere. Open back banjo, no resonator. This thing is a time capsule and plays wonderfully in whatever tuning suits your style.Appraised at local business a few years ago for $2000
