This is #21 of the Reb Beach Koa Voyagers that were made in the early 1990's.  If you are looking at this then most likely you know what this is but I'll write as much as I know about this particular guitar.I somehow ended up with two of these so I can compare (I have #33).   #33 I got from a guy who was the single owner straight from the shop and it has never been altered one bit.  This one has had a few alterations.  And besides the cosmetic differences they both play the same and feel and sound the same. I think there was a pocket crack repair at one point (you can see the picture) but honestly the picture makes it look much worse than it looks in real life.  It almost looks like it could be a blemish.  either way you don't notice it and I guess its just something that could detract from the value of the guitar. My understanding here is also that the top got refinished (who would do such a dumb thing) but then was put back to its original satin finish by some expert guys in chicago.  They did a beautiful job and this was done last year-- and the guitar basically feels new.  It even smells new!  They also switched the original Edge to a Lo-Pro.  I have the old one and will send with the guitar (as it came to me) so you can put it back to original specs.  You will notice the other guitar up on Reverb also had the original trem switched to a lo-pro-- but the original had the original edge with the screws coming out the back back.I'm very reluctant to sell this because I think the quality and workmanship of this guitar is through the roof. It is beautiful, absolutely gorgeous.  The pau ferro neck is like silk-- hard silk!  Great profile, awesome action. The sound is insane.  This guitar has so many different things you can do tonally.  There are two 9 volt batteries in it.  One works with the mid range eq boost switch and the other for the PUPS.  Pull the volume knob out and you split the bridge humbucker.  Playing in the neck position you can almost get some bell like fender tones especially with the volume knob rolled off.  Slap that puppy down and hit the eq switch and you have the most ballsy, rich, bassy chunky chunk. These are REALLY special intstruments.  If I was not so cash strapped from a recent home renovation I'd keep this puppy for good-- but having TWO of these seems like I'm hogging them from the world and someone else needs to get the chance to enjoy this awesome instrument.Case is a really nice custom case with a hygromter built in.  I've got the original strap buttons as well and these can easily be switched back.  cheers and rock on !
