Class:
Description Brand: Fender Body Color: White Body Type: Solid Body Material: Solid Wood Dexterity: Right-Handed Model Year: 1966 String Configuration: 6 String Country/Region of Manufacture: United States Model: Musicmaster II Items Included: Original fender hard case
Neck is about perfect, no real fret wear, straight as it can be and a great low action. I can see why just the necks for these classics bring so much! Genuine Brazilian Rosewood Fretboard, nitro finished over Olympic white, with a darkening that only the years can bring. Kinda yellowish cream now. Its checked of course, and lots of nicks over the years. The only big cosmetic issue is it has a chunk busted off of the upper bout on the edge. I was always gonna file it down and blend it in, as it could probably be blended in to the edge contour and be little noticed, but I kinda bonded with the look after awhile, and never fooled with it..Just let it tell its own story, and played it. Weighs only 7 lbs, super comfortable. This baby is all original, never modified, with the copper plate shield under the pickup and pots. Boy they dont make em like this anymore. Comes with the case it was born in and its in great shape. Plays wonderfully, great low action all the way down the neck..which is stamped 6FEB66B . These things are going up in value faster than 50's teles, due to the lower production numbers, so get one now before they reach those sky high prices. Probably the best investment in Fenders for appreciation.
