This vintage guitar came to me missing the electronics. I went through great pains to get it back to original without forking out 400.00 to 500.00 for the original parts. I found a website that had new electronics that were as close to original as possible. The pickups and wiring were all purchased from this company[Only Music as pictured] and are quality parts. This is a 1960 model according to the heel of neck dated 9-60.This was obviously a red guitar when new that has been sanded and a clear coat applied. A very unusual thing about this guitar is that it has its original chrome bridge cover. How often do you see that? The case is original with a new replacement handle. Very nice original case with working latches showing lots of wear and tear. Vintage looking! The action is very low and has been professionally set up with new strings. Fret wear is minimal. I need to mention that there has been some material removed from the body shown in picture #7. Someone attempted to install a humbucker at some point of time.The original pickguard was not altered. The original pickguard has a crack as pictured .This guitar is a great 55 year old survivor and would look great in anyone's vintage collection. Please ask questions before you buy if you have any.
