Earlier made Calicchio Pre TULSA 1S Hollywood , California bell , with stamped D.Calicchio Los Angeles Valve section and 2 lead pipe L bore Bb trumpet. Serial is in #66xx range . This is an absolutely great playing 1S/2 L and plays really fantastic and smooth through the registers up to very top ! It is an amazing lead and/or jazz horn with more open / less tight / less restrictive feel than ML bore Calicchios ! If you can't find Vintage Martin Committee in Large Bore this horn will do it or it's even better . Don't miss. Horn is in excellent near demo condition visible and playable shape with no silver wear. Only spotted very few scratches around bell pipe area near valves shown on photo. PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS . It is an absolutely fantastic jazz and / or lead horn . This horn is fast and blows big . Leadpipe 2 works great with 1S bell and this is highly popular and most desired Calicchio set up. The large bore set up is rare so don't miss your chance to own this horn ! Horn has been play tested and is ready to play upon receipt. It blows similar to Freddie Hubbard model but I would say it is more air efficient due to bell / leadpipe configuration so player can last longer ! All slides are coming out and are still shinning and valves are smooth and fast like Calicchio valves should be. I just played it and I'm even thinking to pull it from the bay so make your decision quickly ! Valves are as fast as this horn can really play. Excellent compression. Adding very nice and safe Getzen Gig / case with strap which is light and protective to carry daily. This horn fits very nicely in it.
