This is a replica of George Harrison's solid Brazilian Rosewood 1969 gift from Fender US. Or as close as I could get _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

The body and neck are roughly shaped in Brazil but that is it. It is hand built in Sydney from Brazilian Rosewood ( not a veneer......it is 4 solid blocks with a maple sandwich in between). It has no skunk stripe down the neck. The truss bar is in the neck underneath a piece of perfectly fitted rosewood. Brazilian Rosewood is going up in price so my prices go up. It is the most beautifully grained timber which is very very very hard. Absolutely fantastic quality.Adjustable from the body end This wood came openly through Australian Customs and is NOT on the endangered species list in Brazil. The wood Gibson once used was and still is. Fitted with era correct hardware and electrics with expensive and amazing Australian Hand Wound Michael Brierley pick ups. The neck pick up is wound in the opposite direction to give a hum bucking feature. Switching is 3 way ( Neck, Bridge or both ) and cables are cloth covered with the correct era pots and other electrics. Finish is true to era using Nitro Cellulose satin finish. For some reason the Japanese veneered copies are glossy. Not what George had at all. There as is the single string tree. I supply them in a very nice black period hard case with a leather strap. Within Australia I have one price for delivery and that is $60.00, There is no pick up as I am not a street front shop. Delivery from placing your order is 3 months and I will not divert from the original George Harrison specs under any circumstances, so don't ask. This is a bespoke instrument HAND made just for you. Deposit only by bank transfer please or PayPal if you insist FULL REFUND within 5 days of delivery to you IF you are not fully satisfied. The instrument has to be in exactly the same condition for a full refund. Less shipping and handling costs. Being SOLID Brazilian Rosewood for the body and neck, it is a heavy guitar at about 4 kilos. We do recommend you have the guitar setup to your own liking but we supply the instrument checked and ready to play anyway. Ask any questions and remember this is an instrument that will not be rush built. I put 9 coats of Nitro with a 0000 wire wool rub between coats and 2000 grit paper to finally finish the surfaces before a very light buffing ( not a polish) Days go by between coats.
