The Darryl Jones Signature bass looks similar to our 44-60 and 55-60 models, but has more curve to its contouring and dramatic cutaways that add to its vintage styling. This bass took 6 months to build due to not having any in stock and installing the upgrades as well with professional service. The labor alone was about approximately 300- 400.00 to install upgrades not including the price for parts as well. You can price the parts and see what they run and u will appreciate the work that goes into this bass. Personally I do not need to sell this bass, but am willing to let it go for the right buyer, I'm not hurting for money. If interested message me and we definitely can talk. I have all the paperwork that goes with the bass.Darryl's bass is fitted and upgraded with a pair of single coil pickups NJ5's, and a NTMB Bartolini 18 volt pre amp specially installed by Tina Wood from the Bass exchange in Hollywood. I have previously owned a skyline with a Bartolini single coil and Humbucker, it was very powerful but currently this white one has a sound that lights up the building u can hear all the sounds from your playing. The 18 volt Bartolini match with the NJ5's is a custom sound. I spent a lot of time listening to other pre amps and pickups for the right combo, I have basses with Aguilar pickups and Obp3 as well. Im familiar with the Funk RnB Gospel sound and was raised around the sound. * I will include original pickups as well that are brand new that have never been played. Pickguard, blocks on the fingerboard and a beautifully bound neck.This bass include's customized upgrades!*A custom drilled whole was put on the side for the bass cable! Its something I felt made the bass more custom and was my preference. The original Jones model does not come with a cable whole on the side.*Pickups Nordstands NJ5's*Pre amp: 18'volt Bartolini NTMBThe installment was done by the well known "Tina Wood"at the bassexchange in Hollywood. Look the website up and you will know how serious and credible their work is. Tina works on any elite bass and with any edit company in the industry. SKYLINE SERIES
