Fender Stratocaster, ‘57, RARE - Shoreline Gold, 1986, FULL UPGRADE --- FREE DELIVERY AUSTRALIA WIDE --- 1984-87, Made In Japan, “E” serial Very early serial/period Fender JPN FujiGen production Neck dated to 18/1/1986 Very rare colour, especially from an 80’s model Shoreline Gold, one ply white pickguard Alder body, 7.25” board, vintage frets Maple neck, fretboard, “C” profile Period correct 50’s headstock decal and sealed tuners The following upgrades have also been made using only the best high end parts -CTS 250k volume and tone pots -Switchcraft input jack -Oak Grigsby 5-way switch-22 gauge, waxed braided, vintage cloth wiring-Sprague .047mfd orange drop tone capacitor-All cavities, pickguard copper shielded Full copper shielding installed to make this machine SILENT! Even at high amp volumes it is 99% buzz and hum freeThe wiring has perfect grounding and has been COMPLETELY replaced all the way back to the copper winding on the pickups. It is as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside The pickups have a nice warm vintage tone with a balanced read outNeck 5.14kohmMiddle 5.25kohmBridge 5.14kohm It has had a fret polish, action height and intonation set up, fretboard cleaned and polished, body polish, and re strung with D’addario 10-46 strings It has 100% genuine and honest body wear, with a medium “road worn” appearance. All the usual markings of a guitar that has truly been PLAYED. The wear to the neck lacquer looks amazing offset against the maple neck and shoreline gold. If you dream of owning an original relic 50’s Strat than this is as close as you will get to the real thing, but at least a 20th of the price! Awesome looks and tone for a 30+ year vintage player.
