Here's The Run Down: This is A Very Cool, Hard To Find & Vintage Tenor Banjo! I'm guessing Gretsch, because I've had others with a similar resonator, but I am not sure... There will be marks, scuffs, chips, scratches and checking here or there, but nothing other than you would expect of a used, played and vintage instrument (see pics). I tried to take really good pics, so you can judge for yourself (see pics). There are NO breaks, repairs or damage that is not visible in the pics. This banjo appears to be all original with the possible exception of head & bridge. The tailpiece is a Vintage Waverly Patent Applied For Part. The back of the neck is in very good shape with minor wear (pictured). There is minimal fret wear. There is scratching/buckle rash on the back of the resonator and the expected discoloration of the hardware. If your looking for a Vintage Tenor Banjo that your friends do not have, this is the one you have been waiting for!This Vintage Tenor Banjo is very playable with very good action. Although I think its set up fine, everyone has their own preferences. I am a guitar player, not a banjo player. If your not happy with its set up, it will be your responsibility and cost to have it set up to your liking. The neck is straight, and the action is very good from one end of the board to the other. Will need new strings.. The included Banjo Case is in very good condition. I believe its most likely the original. All latches, hinges and handle operate as they should without issue. It will have marks and/or scuffs here or there from moving it around and age, but still a great case. Everything operates as it should, and has never had, nor does it have any breaks or repairs unless noted above. Make sure you view all of the pics and ask questions if you have any concerns before buying. I will ship this item over seas, but you must contact me for a shipping quote before buying.
