Description Product Description Here's an extremely detailed exact-replica of a 1969 Maple Capped Strat Neck. This neck was originally a genuine Fender licensed, Musikraft neck. The contours and edges were then carefully shaped according to a genuine 1969 Maple capped neck. The tuners are genuine Fender tuners from a 1969 Strat. The most important detail on the neck aside from the contour is the headstock logo. This logo is the most accurate reproduction of the vintage, period-correct 1969 logo which is not available in the repro market. Even the current Fender Custom Shop logo is not as accurate as this. This logo was specifically created with the exact font and the metallic particles in the border surrounding the "Fender" wordings. See the close up pictures. The font for "with synchronized tremolo" is also exactly like they were on the old 1969 strats. No accurate repro on the market gets this detail right, including the "Fender" wording. The metallic border will also age to the correct patina over time as it is actual metallic particles just like the genuine necks. There is also neck date on the butt of the neck. It reads "22 Aug 69B" in the same font as that found on an old strat neck. The finish Nitrocellulose lacquer and has been applied properly. The checking you see on the neck is real weather checking. It was not done via a razor blade. The checking is most prominent on the front and back of the headstock as well as the area behind the nut where the first few frets begin. This neck was never installed and therefore, does not have the holes pre-drilled. It has the router mark on the heel of the neck just like the old ones did.I'll let the pictures to the rest of the talking.
