Selling my lovely Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 in Santana Yellow with the most stunning quilted flame maple top ever - see the pics !I purchased it in November 2013 from a well known UK PRS dealer, but the label and serial number states that it was actually manufactured in mid 2011.Look at the huge quilted deep 3D like flames this top has !! As you turn it through the light, the 3D effect is wonderful with changing patterns emerging as you move it.(Some of my pics show it as being a bright yellow colour when in fact its more of a amber kind of yellow like in the first Main pic, that's just how it came out on my phone camera, sorry)It has the "Pattern Thin" neck, so it plays super fast and the upper fret access and slick feel on this guitar is nothing short of amazing.The pick ups are the 59/09's These are PRS's vintage humbucker pick ups, they sound big, open and clear on a clean amp setting, and very fat and complex like a vintage humbucker should when overdriven or when doing high gain solo work. The 5 position switch lets you coil tap on positions 2 and 4 so you can get some nice strat/tele type of single coil sounds too from it and they are actually very good.It has been signed by Paul on the rear electronics cover as you can see but the signature has started to wear off as he used a gold pen, but the signature is still there, just not as clear as it was when he signed it for me at the store.It has absolutely no dings or marks whatsoever and is in mint condition. It was bought purely as an investment/collectors guitar (because of the stunning top and finish) and it has only had light play at home, never gigged or taken outside of my smoke free/pet free house and has only ever been handled by myself.I have decided to sell as I am getting on in years now, and I know I will never get the chance to actually play this anywhere, and a high end instrument like this really deserves to be played a lot and seen by everybody, not spending its life in a cupboard as it has done so far !There is no wear on the frets since it was purchased purely for investment purposes, and also the case is immaculate with no damage also. All the case candy will be included.This is one collectors guitar you will be very proud to own or walk out on stage with and is an investment that will keep going up in value.It will be shipped once the funds clear into my account from Paypal (usually 3 working days for larger amounts such as this)ONCE ITS GONE, ITS GONE !!!!!SHIPPING - I will ship to UK mainland only, remote postcodes may cost more, contact me if this is relevant and we will get a quote done, Shipping is £15.00 for a basic uninsured, tracked courier service (usually I prefer to use Royal Mail Parcelforce service or UPS).
