Vintage/Aged Relic Telecaster/Tele Guitar

Thank you for viewing my listing.Late 50's two tone sunburst Tele custom type guitar.

This is a lovely guitar, lovingly put together over months and with all the right age related nicks and scrapes and scars. It's not a beaten to death with a chain relic; but carefully and sympathetically aged in every way from the cellulose paint to the plastics and everything in between.
*Two piece alder body (built by guitarbuild) finished in  two tone 50's sunburst; it's actually a three tone, but the red is deliberately very faded. You can see some of the red burst in certain lights. A very cool looking body courtesy of the binding, and a very well made body. This guitar just seemd to go together without any real 'effort'- if you take away all the obvious effort! what i mean is that the neck and body just seem to work together brilliantly.
*Allparts neck, 7 and 1/4 inch vintage radius and vintage frets. The join between the rosewood and the maple has been reprofiled to look more correct. Nice and comfortable with a beautifully worn back. Can be decaled on request.
You might notice that in some of the pictures of the back, the neck looks a different colour. It was! but i hated how it looked so i stripped it all off and re sprayed it!! Certain details drive me crazy. well they all drive me crazy but that's a whole different story! Its the subtle attention to detail that you'll find in every guitar i make.
The last four pictures show the neck colour as it is now :)
*Kluson nickel tuners.
*Aged mint green pickguard which is a very close match to celluloid nitrate, and i must have used three or four on it before i was happy with the colour! It's not the ubiquitous pea green you'll see on so many.
*Vintage type bridge and saddles with their hateful intonation!! Actually this intonates pretty well,
*Alnico pickups, CTS pots and so on.
This really is a cracking guitar and utterly convincing.
I've done a lot of work on refinishing real deal vintage guitars, both fender's and gibson's and my guitars are all over the world now having been bought by players and collectors alike. Never had anything but surprise at how authentic the work is up close (unfortunately pictures never really capture the subtle details); and my work has always been compared right up there with the few people in this game that really know what they're doing.
This is a guitar that won't disappoint.
Any questions feel free to ask.I will ship worldwide, but please email prior to bidding for a shipping quote so i can check the shipping costs.
