Thank you for viewing this item! We are proud to offer an amazing 1966 Gibson Firebird in the original Cardinal Red finish with 3 stock P-90 pickups. This 50 year old guitar is in beautiful condition. It sports
3 original P-90's. These pickups are amazing! Throaty & full but capable of that Strat quack as well. All original parts & electronics. Original Gibson tremolo with no wear or corrosion. An unmolested control cavity with all original solder joints. Original finish which shows classic finish checking. Neck joint is solid & uncracked or seperated. (I believe the case is original as I have seen one other with identical case) The only issue with the guitar is a slight crack in the neck (pictured) at the headstock. One of the top Luthier's in the Country checked it out & says it is a non issue. He also set up the guitar & it plays like a dream! This seller is a full service music store and we typically auction a few items each month to reduce inventory.
