Well played vintage The Gibson L-1 cira 1917. Replaced mandolin style fret wire were needed. Truly unique warm sound that is different from other L-1s. Has larger grain spruce on carved top that is different from other L-1s I've owned. Back and sides could be birch but not sure. Ebony fret board and bridge. Original tailpiece, pickguard and pickguard clamps. Neck is solid and well worn from over a 100 years or so of play. Finish may have been over sprayed at some point but not certain. Tuners appear to have been replaced long long ago. Player patina and wear marks abound on this guitar. Case is solid but well travelled with handle replaced.
