The Ovation Country Artist is one of the more unique Ovation models. Basically a nylon string for steel string finger pickers. It has a traditional flat classical fingerboard, but the nut width is a slim 1-7/8 inch compared to the typical 2 inch width of a classical. The neck joins the body at the 14th fret, same as Ovation steel sting guitars.
The guitar has been made about 1976 year. This is the famous model which was used by Glenn Cambell for his Classical Gas (youtube.com/watch?v=2F2CKkmWLik).Information about this guitar:
When we bought it had a crack on the top. It was repaired by one of the best Polish luthier. The whole old top laquer has been removed, the crack was repaired and it has a brand new laquer now! On photo you can see the scar when the crack was before repair. Also for addtional backup a little wood suspension was added inside. The guitar is set up and it's ready to play. 200116 Serial NumberFull spec
