Description
Brand: Fender

This was your Standard James Burton Model Telecaster. When I purchased the guitar I knew it had a "U" Shaped neck.
I am a working musician on the Jersey shore. My other Telecaster is a Fender Select Telecaster with Maylasian Blackwood. (You can look it up)
Point being, I wanted both guitars to have similar necks. So when I grabbed either one on stage they felt exactly the same.
Here is a video of the guitar in action, not the best sounding vid but yu can also see my Select Telecatser with matching neck right behind me.So...the neck I had put on the JB Tele that you see here is a USA Compound Radius neck! It is a Modern C shape much slimmer then the original JB neck.
The neck was ordered direct from Fender and cost me just about $600 plus what my luthier charged! hahahah
I had him keep the JB tuners. All electronics and Basswood body of the guitar are just like from the factory! All I did was change the neck.
No, I do not have the original neck.
There are many players out who prefer big fat necks. I am not one of them. I like the slimmer 60s style Telecaster. As you can see from the pics
the guitar looks great, it plays great, no scratches no dents. And of course the case is included!
I would like to point out some of the Gold faded off right where I rest my palm on the bridge while I'm playing. I guess its crappy plating by Fender.
The guitar is 3 years old.
Naturally by doing this to the guitar, although it cost me more money, it doesn't increase its value. But be rest assured this not a MIM neck.
I cant seem to find my original receipt for the neck from Fender. Maybe I will by the time this sells. I will included it. However the serial number is there!
I am just a musician and not a seller of equipment on ebay.
