Vox LynxThis guitar would have been made in Italy between 1965 and 1967 and is finished in a dark redwith black edging to the body and front of headstock and with full body,soundholes, neck and headstock binding.All the hardware is very unusual as it appears to be brass - the four knobs have a gold type finish but all the rest is brass which goes very well against the red/black of the guitar body. There are two pickupseach with volume and tone controls and a three-way pickup selector switch and with metal surroundsmatching the pickups.The bridge is adjustable and still retains its cover, and the tailpiece is an offset trapeze with two crosspieces.The neck is bolted on and the fingerboard contains twenty-one frets with mother-of-pearl block inlays. Theheadstock has the ''Vox'' logo, the brass truss rod cover and the three on a side tuners each bearing a trebleclef logo.There are a few small marks on the body but only one sign of lacquer checking on the front of the body - there are often many signs of lacquer checking, but this guitar is in a very good condition with a differentcolour finish to almost all I have ever seen - and it is a great guitar to play!Please call/text on 07544 887582 with any questions.
