Because this is the very 1st Goliath ever builtduring fabrication it had a small matching korina shim/wedge built, glued and then Shaped into the bottom edge of the neck pocketwhere the body meets the neck, it does not affect the guitar in any way, it is strictly cosmetic. *(see pic)So if you can live with a small build blem you've got an Amazing Guitar!Many many hours were put into Designing and building this guitar, it's unique designmakes playing a pleasure, the sound is spot-on for everything from classic-rock, hard-rock, metal, to crossover styles of music.The unique hand carved heel allows ease of reaching the high register of the scale, along with the unique 25" scale gives the musician the best of both worlds, Great Tone and Fantastic Feel and Playability.the Specs:
