Here's a classic Dano/Silvertone amp-in-case model from the early 60's. This appears to be the first version with the olive greenish colored case.Two famous lipstick pickups and classic concentric controls. Very clean redburst finish with sparkles. Brazilian Rosewood fretboard. How cool is that?The full-scale guitar plays and sounds great. It looks like it was barely played.The amp and case are also in very clean condition. This is the earliest electronics with the unique tube layout and 2 transformers near the speaker. The tubes have been tested and are good. The tube pins, sockets, input jack, and control pot have been cleaned. Everything works fine, except there is the normal 120 Hz hum due to the original dried out filter caps. Since the guitar and amp are in such nice condition and might sell to a collector, I didn't want to swap the caps, but I can have this done for you before shipping at an additional charge. I would include the original parts with the shipment.The metal corners appear to have been added. I think they look cool, but they are easy to remove if you like.If you are looking for a cool amp-in-case model, this is about as nice as they come, and the early 2 pickup models are getting harder to find.Payment Terms:Payment due within 3 days of sale.
