The top has some moderate dents and dings (mostly around the edges) and a larger blemish right below the pickguard. The back has some scratches and light dings on the bottom and bottom edge. The edges of the headstock has a few dings. Elegant looking Vintage Sunburst finish with a bound wood pickguard and natural flame maple binding on the body, neck and headstock. The guitar has a nice action and the thin profile maple neck with an ebony fretboard feels great. The frets are in excellent condition with hardly any signs of playwear.The humbucking pickup has a great vintage tone with good output. The electronics are a simple master volume and tone. The guitar is stung with flatwound strings for that great jazz tone. This is a high quality hand built guitar with great looks, tone and playability. Includes the hard shell case and Certificate of Authenticity. Serial Number: 120930028Weight: 5 lbs. 4 oz.OVERVIEW The Jazz 16 is an all carved Custom 16" lower bout 2 1/2" at rims - Heavy Paralell Bracing, Block Inlays, neck position humbucking pickup, and all maple binding. This is the newest and most exciting performance based Eastman custom archtop ever made! This new design is deep enough to give that big archtop Kenny Burrell Gibson round tone and the clarity and responsiveness of an Eastman. The heavy bracing controls the feedback making this an extremely light weigh and comfortable archtop. With the soul of a 1950s archtop and today's level of modern playability.
