This is a vintage tenor Banjo made by Rettberg & Lange in roughly 1919 (according to the serial number 8910). It is in very good condition and has a very thick tubby sound. It has a fairly unusually large 12.25 inch pot which gives it more low end. Some of the friction tuners have a hard time staying in tune as they are original and have a tendency to wear out.
